CONTEST CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CONGRATS TO SAMANTHA MAY AND KINDLEMOM!!!!!!!
I think I'm gonna move up my release date :-D
Man, sometimes I really, really love having control of all of these little parts of publishing, lol.
Here's the cast using pictures that I probably shouldn't have, that have been on my computer since I wrote the book.
Here's the girl who's on the run
(who would approve of the "glamour" shot btw)
Who fell for the cop
but just for fun.
And here's the lodge owner
of where she stayed
After the defendant, chased her away.
And this is the neighbor who does post office runs
And bakes "magic brownies" again, for fun.
And this is the ex-wife, who's come to stalk
the ex-husband, who wants her to walk
And the little sister who's a bit of trouble
But is determined to find a girl for her brother.
I know.
I'm SUCH a huge nerd.
This book is ALL me. ALL ME. Some of the guys are people I know. The girls are not...
This lodge is a place where I've spent HOURS of my life both now and since I was in high school.
The wagon wheel fixtures from the book are gone, but really were there for WAY too long.
They know to plop a Mountain Dew in front of me before I even take off my helmet.
Good people.
Good times.
James IS my brother.
Josh is his unluckiest of lucky best friends (many stories here).
And Rory's the cousin who might as well be my brother.
Right now my husband is the DA, but that's going to change in the final.
And none of those three guys are pictured above b/c that would be dangerous...

And this is a WAY fun love story.
And THIS post is a chance for you to win THIS paperback ARC (or actually, UNCORRECTED PROOF), but only IF you live in the US. Sorry foreign peoples, but I'm going broke doing post office runs... :(
(Yes. I know the picture is backwards - the computer does that, but it also sorta makes me laugh, so I kept it this way)
Post in the comments and promise to tweet me :-D

Man I wish every author was self published, that way we wouldn't have to wait so long between books!
Sorry no Twitter. But I'll just pretend that I do have one and I did tweeted you and you saw it and replied :)

Oh to live in the US ;) Oh well, I'll have to get myself a copy someday when I know it's on a site I can afford (i.e. Book Depository).
You just kill me ...
I'd love to get an ARC of your book. I'll tweet you. Love the cover BTW! :D
What a neat post! I'm so jealous of your creativity. :)
I don't think there's a book of yours I won't end up loving! I love the cover art and the summary :) can't wait!!! Just tweeted @schwartzamber :)

Ok, I am going to put this out in my twitter-sphere. This book sounds great! Thanks!
What a gorgeous cover, Jolene. I am a winter sucker! ;) Love sweaters and fireplaces and hot chocolate and oh did I mention sweaters ;)
I just wanted to tell you a funny story- I went to get a library card and I had to bring my address with me. I used your package. The librarian thought AK was Arkansaw and I was like, "No dude this package has traveled far lands....ALASKA!!" ;)
I also updated my blog with pics of my canyon jumping yeaaaa, just thought you should know. Ya know, for fodder for later books :P
You're amazing.
*whimpers* I need to move to America! :p
Yes, please release this book soon, I can't wait to get my hands on it! :D
Great pics. But why isn't your husband the DA anymore? And how does he feel about losing his role? :)
Remember how I'm kind of behind on all of your books...*cough cough*
:D I'm so tweeting you. Right now.
I LOVE that you wrote a poem as the synopsis...
I would enter but... I can't, eh? I'm not bitter about it, though, not at all. ;)
This sounds like such a fun one, Jolene! It's always a blast to put so much of yourself in a book. :)
I'VE UPPED THIS TO TWO PAPERBACKS...
I very much want a copy of that book. Or all your books, you know.

I love how the book looks (backwards and everything!!).

Jolene, your cast introduction reminded me (for some reason) of the nursery rhyme "In the House That Jack Built". thanks for the laugh!
